Good questions.
What is Xcheap?
A better version of X, with the good old internet vibes. One shared timeline, real conversations, and no follower count to chase. The timeline is open now. Lifetime checkmarks are coming soon.
How do I get my $9 lifetime checkmark?
Lifetime checkmarks are coming soon. Get yours for a one-time payment of $9 when checkout opens. No payments or reservations are being accepted yet.
Where do my posts go?
Onto the same public timeline everyone sees, newest first. Replies, reposts, and hearts keep the conversation going. Your first post or a quick vibe check claims a permanent visitor number. Return in the same browser to keep it; clearing browser storage loses access to your number and deletion keys.
Do I need a checkmark to post?
No. The public timeline is open. The upcoming lifetime checkmark is optional. Pass one quick vibe check, claim your number, and say hello. Your check lasts 24 hours; every post still goes through safety and spam screening.
A small town square. Be a good neighbor.
140 characters. No explicit sexual content, hate, harassment, threats, spam, promotions, links, or private personal details. Text only. Every post passes automated safety and spam checks before it appears.
Post freely. Only rapid bursts are slowed down, with extra protection for shared networks. Report anything that slips through; three independent reports hide it for review. Filters can make mistakes.
Public means public. Posts may be copied by others. We save your post, its time, and a daily salted hash of your network address for abuse prevention; no raw IP address is stored in the feed database. Cloudflare processes requests and submitted text for safety and spam checks. Your optional display name is public, with your permanent number alongside it. Your browser keeps a private access key for your visitor number, reactions, and deleting your posts. Anyone with that key can use your number, so don’t share it. Clearing storage loses access to your number; public profiles and posts remain until moderated or removed. Removed posts are hidden from the feed and may remain in moderation records and backups.
